Journey of the Drum is a cultural revitalization program that celebrates indigenous drum tradition every Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm at the Edmonton Aboriginal Seniors Centre.
Alexander First Nation, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, Big Stone Cree Nation, and Enoch Cree Nation have partnered up with the Edmonton Aboriginal Seniors Centre.
The program offers seniors with teachings on the land, intergenerational learning, pipe ceremonies, sweat lodges, building drums and more.
