A fan-favourite Canadian band that’s been rocking since the ’90s is bringing their latest album to the bright lights of venues across Canada.
The Trews latest tour coincides with the release of their eighth studio album, The Bloody Light.
The band hail from Antigonish Nova Scotia, and include vocalist Colin MacDonald, guitarist John-Angus MacDonald, bassist Jack Syperek and drummer Theo McKibbon.
They have earned over 100 million global streams, with certified platinum album sales, multiple JUNO Award nominations, as well as ECMA and US Independent Music Award wins.
MacDonald joined Darrell Stranger to talk about the tour, making the album, and why after all these year’s the band still keeps on rocking.
The Trews will start their tour in Vancouver Feb. 13 and then head to Alberta for shows Feb. 15 in Edmonton at Midway Music Hall and Feb. 16 in Calgary at The Palace Theatre.
