This organization offers over 100 services in communities throughout Edmonton and central Alberta. Johanna Luna caught up with the CEO Dr. Troy Davies about making an impact here in Alberta.
Troy Davies was appointed as the CEO of Catholic Social Services in April 2018. Prior to joining the Agency, Troy spent nearly a decade as a school district senior executive, including several years as a Chief Superintendent. That leadership experience was preceded by another 10 years serving as a school principal and teacher, both in Alberta and Maryland.
Dr. Davies is a holder of several university degrees including a B.A. from the University of Regina, a B.Ed. from McGill University in Montreal, a M.Ed. from the University of Calgary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta. He is also currently nearing completion of a M.A. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
