Construction for the new community recreation facility in the town of Stony Plain is well underway. The facility will include multiple sports courts, running tracks and more.
Karl Hill, General Manager of Community and protective services for Stony Plain tells 89.3 The Raven that following the approval of council for construction last April, the building is now starting to take shape.
Hill highlights the services the building will provide as it well have both indoor and outdoor options for citizens to choose from when accessing the facility.
The new recreational facility is slated to be completed by late 2026.
