When winter hits Edmonton and area, a reliable furnace isn’t just nice to have — it’s essential. That’s why this fall, Atmosphere Plumbing & Heating teamed up with 89.3 The Raven to give away a brand-new furnace to someone truly deserving.
Listeners were invited to nominate a friend, family member, or neighbour in need — someone who could use a little warmth and kindness this season. The response was incredible, but one story in particular stood out.
Meet Erin and Nikki ❤️
Nikki has been best friends with Erin since they were five years old — through every move, every challenge, and every province in between. When she heard about the contest, she knew exactly who needed to be nominated. Erin has faced some tough financial years and was even looking into financing a new furnace just to make it through the cold months.
But thanks to Nikki’s big heart — and the generosity of Atmosphere Plumbing & Heating, along with their partners at GE and National Energy — Erin no longer has to worry about that.
When Sean Burke from The Raven Morning Show called to deliver the news, there wasn’t a dry eye on the line. Erin was speechless, emotional, and overwhelmed with gratitude:
