Mission Thrift Store
Today, The Mission in Thrift store in Edmonton Held a back-to-school event to help get kids back on track within affordability. There were School Supplies ready to get taken away, as well as free popcorn, hot dogs, and Haircuts.
Mission Thrift Stores is a volunteer-driven, non-denominational Christian organization that currently operates more than 50 thrift stores across Canada. 89.3 the Raven spoke with Elton Francis, a well-informed associate at the mission thrift, about all the updates on this year’s school.
Here, Francis talks about the push that drove the organization to happen.
The Mission Thrift Store Edmonton
All of Mission Thrift’s net proceeds go to support the joint ministries of BFM Foundation Canada and Bible League Canada. The funds are used to support the local community and provide programs that encourage literacy, empower women and provide a safe place for children to learn and grow.
