We might be in the dog days of summer but that doesn’t mean that hockey can’t be played.
The 3rd Annual Métis Cup is set to return this weekend at the Booster Juice Recreation Centre in Edmonton Aug. 1-3.
There will be three jam-packed days filled with sport, live entertainment, and activities for all, hockey player or not, there’s Métis fun for everyone!
Darrell Stranger spoke with Taylor Masters and Alex Kusturok from the Otipemisiwak Metis government about the tournament and how it is so much more than just a weekend of hockey.
