Alberta Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony set for this Saturday

2025 Inductee Brady Leman from Calgary, won gold at PyeongChang 2018 Olympics

The 2025 Alberta Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday June 7th, and will honor legendary athletes and builders from the province.

The Gala at Red Deer Resort & Casino will see six athletes, three builders, one team, one media member, and two former CFL equipment managers honored with an achievement award.

As well, Clara Hughes, a six-time Olympic medalist and the only athlete to win multiple medals in both Summer and Winter Games, will be inducted.

This special evening will bring together athletes, coaches, and sport supporters from across the province to honour the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future of Alberta sport.
