Edmonton Police are looking for this suspect in an attempted child abduction in Edmonton
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking assistance to identify a male suspect in connection with a reported child abduction attempt in northwest Edmonton last week.
On May 9 EPS said a 15-year-old female was walking in the area of 145 Avenue and 125 Street when a male who was urinating outside reportedly noticed her and began to approach her.
The male, who reportedly appeared to be intoxicated according to police, grabbed her arm and attempted to drag the girl across the street.
The girl was able to escape the male’s grasp and flee. He then reportedly got into a grey vehicle following the incident.
EPS said while investigating the attempted abduction, they learned of another incident that occurred on May 7 involving a similarly described suspect and vehicle.
On this date, an area resident had observed a naked male in a park in the same area who was believed to have been masturbating police said.
Following that incident, the male reportedly dressed, then walked north on 125 Street and got into a grey hatchback.
