
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking the public for their assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an arson that occurred in southeast Edmonton last month.
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m., police were called to the area of 92 Street and 34 Avenue for a large commercial fire.
When EPS arrived, several businesses in the strip mall were engulfed in flames destroying 25 units and resulting in several million dollars in damages.
Edmonton Fire Rescue Services has deemed the fire as suspicious.
Investigators are now releasing security footage in hopes of identifying a suspect, described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall with an average build.
The suspect was seen wearing a black hoodie, dark bandana covering his face, jeans and royal blue shoes.
He was seen driving a white Ford F150 truck with a red maple leaf on the driver’s side of the tailgate.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Also anyone with dash camera or security camera footage from the area between the hours of 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, are asked to contact EPS.
