Edmonton police investigating suspicious death in west Edmonton

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a suspicious death that took place in west Edmonton Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday at approximately 12:15 a.m., EPS West Branch Patrol officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the area of 56 Avenue and 199 Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with a deceased male inside.  The death was determined to be suspicious according to EPS.

EPS Homicide Section has since taken over the investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Two males have been taken into custody and police are not looking for any other suspects at this time.
