A cyclist is dead after they were hit by a semi-truck north of Edmonton.
Valleyview RCMP said a cyclist was travelling in the middle of a westbound lane and was not seen by a semi-truck until it was too late.
Though the semi-truck attempted to avoid the cyclist, it was unable to do so and, unfortunately, the cyclist was pronounced deceased on scene.
Charges are not currently being sought in regards to this incident.
