A 35-year-old man who was a wanted gang member has been taken into custody, and is facing a list of charges.
According to the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) Francis Boysis is a member of the A$AP street gang and was wanted on a Canada-wide apprehension and suspension warrant.
A$AP stands for Always Strive and Prosper and is a street gang that is in northern and central Alberta as well as correctional institutions. They are known for drug trafficking, home invasions, robberies, stolen property and they rely on violence.
On Feb. 14, officers arrived at Boysis’ home after receiving a tip from an EPS patrol team of his location, and was taken into custody after trying to flee through a basement window.
