A giant 216-unit apartment building is in the works for Edmonton’s west end, with its target location neighboring shopping and a future LRT station.
Construction is slated to start on a new residential development near Meadowlark Mall. T he area is currently a green space, sitting on the corner of two busy corridors in West Edmonton.
Its location will put it within walking distance of ample shops, restaurants, and a health centre, as well as Meadowlark stop along the Valley Line West LRT which is projected for completion in 2028.
A building permit was issued by the City on December 20, 2024.
Construction is expected to wrap in 2027, according to Alberta Major Projects.
