Work is underway to clear snow clearing in Edmonton’s residential neighborhoods.
Crews will be removing snow Monday through Friday, 24 hours a day. The ban is expected to last 10 to 14 days, depending on weather.
The ban is in place to give crews time to clear the residential roads of ruts and divots that have resulted from the snowfalls.
People are asked to park in their driveway, garage or any roadway that’s been cleared where parking is normally allowed.
Under phase 2, vehicles parked on residential roads in neighbourhoods may be ticketed.
People can go to the city’s website to find out where and when crews are working and which roads have been cleared.
