
Four motorists were injured following an early morning crash on Highway 2 Wednesday.
RCMP said the initial call on the crash came in at 7:34am with reports of the accident on the southbound lane of the QE2, adjacent to the Bowden Hi-Way Golf Course.
Mounties say a southbound semi-truck lost control and flipped on its side, blocking southbound lanes. A bystander from another vehicle went to assist the semi driver, and as he was assisting, a Ford F-350 pulling a cattle liner collided with the semi.
There were minor injuries to the pedestrian, the semi driver and two occupants of the Ford F-350.
Three head of cattle were being transported in the liner, one was declared deceased as a result of the crash.
Old’s RCMP continue to investigate the crash.
