Spruce Grove’s Myshak Metro Ballpark set to open in June 2025

Myshak Metro Ballpark in Spruce Grove

Construction is underway on the Myshak Metro Ballpark in Spruce Grove.

The Ballpark includes the construction of a new baseball facility that can accommodate more than 3,000 spectators, an outdoor amphitheater, a microbrewery, a 68-unit condo complex and a storage facility.

Along with baseball, the new ballpark could be also be used for concerts and outdoor skating.

The facility is being constructed on the corner of Pioneer Road and Highway 16A and will be the home of the Edmonton Prospects baseball team.

Spruce Grove’s population is 38,985, according to the city’s 2023 municipal census. The average annual population growth rate for the past 10 years has been 3.41 per cent.

The Western Canadian Baseball League’s metro Edmonton franchise will introduce summer collegiate baseball to the Myshak Metro Ballpark with a new name and brand starting in the 2025 Season. The team is looking for your help on naming the club. Click here to enter
