On Nov. 15, The National Music Centre (NMC) announces its first international partnership with the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music (BSACAM) and Steven Van Zandt’s TeachRock.
This groundbreaking collaboration is bringing together leading institutions dedicated to Canadian and American music heritage while paving the way for cross-border cultural exchange.
The exchange will offer opportunities to highlight celebrated musical artists from both side of the boarder to inspire the next generation of music lovers.
CEO of the National Music Centre Andrew Mosker shares how the first of its kind partnership will create programing for music lovers both side of the boarder.
Along with the announcement of the partnership comes a partnered programing with Steven Van Zandt’s TeachRock which focuses on helping teach music to kids across the United States
Van Zandt shares how TeachRock will be creating a Canadian version to teach students the life lessons learned through music.
Coming in the new year will be a special one day only symposium titled Echo’s Across the Boarder focused on the artists on both sides influenced each other.
