Hundreds of students from dozens of Edmonton schools laid poppies on the headstones and grave markers of the brave men and women who laid down their lives for our freedoms on Monday Nov. 4, 2024.
The annual “No Stone Left Alone” has been an event that has taken place across the country and around the world for over a decade.
The No Stone Left Alone initiative has aimed to ensure that every fallen Canadian veteran is remembered with a poppy.
While students made sure that every headstone was adorned with the symbolic symbol for remembering, dignitaries took to the podium to address the young ones , along with he public in attendance. The event in Edmonton was live streamed on the No Stone Left Alone website and YouTube page.
