A collision on Edmonton’s North end sent one person to hospital.
On Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at approximately 11:35 a.m., a Dodge pickup truck was benign driven by a 44-year-old man and was travelling southbound on 66 Street at 167 Avenue when it drove through a red light and struck an Infiniti SUV that was travelling eastbound on 167 Avenue.
The Dodge pickup truck then struck the front of a Nissan SUV that was stopped in the northbound lane at the intersection’s light.
The 44-year-old female driver of the Infiniti SUV was been taken to hospital for precautionary measures.
Traffic was closed and re-routed but re-opened in the intersection approximately three hours later.
