Despite the Edmonton Elks falling just short of a playoff position this year, football fans in the capital region will have the opportunity to hoist the Grey Cup above their heads.
The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP, in partnership with the Canadian Football League and City of Fort Saskatchewan, are proud to welcome the Grey Cup to the Fort Heritage Precinct on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024!
The Alberta RCMP are honoured to have been approached by the Canadian Football League to bring the Grey Cup to the province, and for us to present an historic trophy at an historic site.
The Alberta RCMP are please to announce that EE Alumni and 1993 Grey Cup Champion Jed Roberts will be there sporting his Grey Cup ring, along with three members of the Edmonton Elks Cheer Team.
Rellik caught up with a good friend and former Grey Cup champion Jed Roberts. They chat about the prized trophy coming to Fort Saskatchewan, his vivid memories of winning a Grey Cup and what makes Edmonton such a special city:

- 12 p.m.: Insp. Barry Larocque, Officer-in-Charge of the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP will kick-off the festivities with opening remarks.
- 2 p.m.: Watch our half-time show where Police Service Dog Memphis, and handler Sgt Mike Drenka, show-off their skills.
- Spend time at our tail-gate party with a RCMP recruiter to learn about joining our team.
- Pictures with the Grey Cup can be taken throughout the event in the museum.
