A Red Deer Senior has been charged for the alleged sexual assault of a child and Red Deer RCMP believes there may be more victims.
On August 10, Mounties received a report of an older man who was offering candy to a number of children, before inviting the victims into his home and sexually assaulting them. Police say this type of interaction reportedly occurred on several different occasions with different children.
71 year old Terry Haskell has been charged with sexual assault of a child, sexual interference with a minor, invitation to sexual touching, indecent acts and two counts of breaching probation.
Haskell was taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody.
A court date has been set for Dec. 14 in Red Deer.
Police believe there may be other victims out there.
