A couple of your favourite Edmonton Oilers were busy hitting the links for the greater good on Monday.
The annual Zach Hyman Celebrity Golf Classic took place at Oakdale Golf & Country Club in North York, ON. The event was in support of The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Colby’s Kidz, UJA, and SickKids Hospital.
Connor McDavid was all business, even in the offseason.
The Edmonton Oilers captain attended the annual event alongside Connor Brown and of course Zach Hyman himself.
When talking with the media from the fairway he was quick to shut down any playoff talk immediately with reporters. It was clear he was there to support his team mate and the causes behind the event:
Zach Hyman, however, did respond to reporters about the playoff run, which led the Oilers to game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. He spoke about the feeling after the loss, and how after a couple of weeks, how that feeling changes to appreciate how far they went and the support that Edmonton showed:
