During a ceremony on July 4, the Alberta Beach Heritage Village and Museum officially opened their new Bridge Between Nations Exhibit.
With a Tipi set up beside the Museum, surrounded by stories from Elders, The exhibition shares the vital connection between the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, and the area of Lac St Anne.
Alberta Beach Counselor Tara Elwood speaks on the significance of the Exhibit.
Chief Tony Alexis said the Exhibit is a way of preserving their nations history.
Chief Alexis said Elders from his community will be sharing their stories inside the Tipi throughout the summer.
