In recognition of Indigenous History Month, Kingsway Mall is proud to present a unique and educational display that brings to life the historical Treaty Six document.
Bo Tarasanko, Marketing Manager at Kingsway Mall, as he says that it’s almost surreal seeing the exhibit on full display for mall attendees to see it and learn about the Treaty Six document and it’s history.
Tarasanko is hopeful that mall attendees will take the time to learn and to educate themselves on the display and what the Treaty Six document represents.
Tarasanko adds that the reaction has been a sense of surprised that the document is a real thing that exists in the world, adding that he is stoked for mall goers to witness The Dancing Cree perform in front of the display on National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st from 4:30-5:30 PM.
Cara Morin, organizer of The Dancing Cree says her team is excited to be returning to the mall, and the significance of the dance performance through Reconciliation.
