The 2024 Teepee Youth Summit hosted by the First Nations Health Consortium returns on July 29-31st at the North East River Valley Event Centre in Edmonton that will feature guest speakers and activities for youth to participate in throughout the three day event.
Gordon Auger, special advisor with First Nation Health Consortium, says that the youth is the future, with the main focus is working to ensure the better outcome for Indigenous youth from attending the summit.
Auger speaks on the significance behind the creation of the Teepee Youth Summit as he says that the youth is the future.
Auger says that youth attendees will take away teachings and life lessons from hearing success stories from the guest speakers such as Scott Godfrey, Gloria and Olivia Latridis, Barry Morrissette, Geena & Dean Jackson, and Elder John Bigstone.
