RCMP detachments are reminding drivers to use extreme caution while driving on roads after the latest snowstorm played a role in 52 crashes. Most of the accidents happened on the QEII between Edmonton and Calgary, three of the 52 crashes caused injuries.
A snowstorm warning remains in effect for southern Alberta, including Calgary, Lethbridge, Drumheller, and Banff.
73 people have reported crashes in Edmonton between 8am and noon.
RCMP are recommending everyone to stay home and off the roads if they don’t need to drive.
