The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow our communities, establish government services and prepare our city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape their city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
Old Strathcona Public Realm Strategy. Your input is vital in shaping publicly owned lands—parks, plazas, alleyways and sidewalks—for now and future generations of Edmontonians. We’re also talking about the important role of bus-based mass transit along Whyte Avenue in shaping it into a more inviting and vibrant area. Provide your feedback and take the survey at engaged.edmonton.ca/oldstrathpublicrealm. Visit edmonton.ca/OldStrathPublicRealm for more information on the project. Feedback collected until April 7.
Building a stronger economy and increasing prosperity:
Centre City Area Survey. Edmontonians can provide their input on the experience of visiting, or living in, the Centre City Area. The survey is to understand downtown lived experiences and is available from March 21- 28 at edmonton.ca/surveys.
Supporting healthier and more inclusive communities:
Mass Transit Equity Principles Survey. Feedback will be used to help inform planning for the future bus-based mass transit network for 1.25 million people to ensure these routes provide the most benefit to all Edmontonians. Survey closes April 2.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
LRT seating layout: The City seeks feedback on the LRT seating layout for new trains on the Capital and Metro lines. The survey is available until March 19. For more information and options to participate, visit engaged.edmonton.ca/LRTseating.
