Albertans will soon have to adjust their clocks an hour ahead as we inch closer to the start of spring.
This year, Daylight time begins Sunday, March 10 at 2 a.m. local time. Observers will set their clocks forward, or “spring ahead,” by one hour.
The change takes place just nine days before the official first day of spring, which this year is on Tuesday, March 19.
Not all Canadians adhere to daylight saving time. Yukon, most of Saskatchewan, and some parts of Quebec, Ontario and B.C. stay on standard time all year round.
