The City of Edmonton announced a parking ban will be issued on Monday night to help get rid of the latest snowfall. The Phase 1 parking ban will be implemented at 7pm tonight.
On Sunday, the Edmonton area received 10-20cm of snow, with many claiming this to be the biggest snowfall of the season.
Please remove vehicles from all major roads, bus routes, roads marked with seasonal “no parking” signage and roads within business improvement areas. If any vehicles are seen violating these parking rules they could be ticketed or towed.
