The Beaumont Music Festival, formally known as the Beaumont Blues and Roots Music Festival, held a launch event in downtown Edmonton for the release of their new rebranding and lineup for the 2024 festival.
According to Jeremy Kornel, the Executive Director of the Beaumont Music Festival, the lineup is completely Canadian, and 70% of all the performances are female musicians with the second day featuring an all-female lineup.
The launch event featured live performances from Edmonton’s own Martin Kerr as well as Olivia Street from King of Foxes, both who are slated to perform at the festival.
The headliners for the festival feature The Beaches, Dear Rouge, and Headstones.
Marco Corbo, Electric Religious and Justin Sutton & North of 49 fill up the rest of Friday’s roster, RadioActive, Payphones, King of Foxes, Megan Paige, Maddie Storvold Band, Tania Ribero, Mallory Chipman and Kat Zel Band round up the Saturday lineup.
The festival runs on Friday June 21 and Saturday June 22 in the Four Seasons Park in Beaumont, and more information can be found on their website.
Weekend passes are $179.99, $119.99 for students/seniors or $249.99 for VIP, $119.99 for Friday tickets and $129.99 for Saturday, now on sale at beaumontmusicfestival.com.
