In the early hours of Saturday morning, police said the town’s Municipal Enforcement vehicle had been stolen and taken for a joyride.

A Dodge Ram pickup truck with unit number 2010, was reported missing at 3:30 am, with witnesses saying it was last seen heading eastbound on 50 Avenue in Cold Lake.

police issued a news release a few hours later, saying the vehicle had been recovered and a suspect was in custody.

Cold Lake RCMP have not revealed any other information, including the suspects name
