A woman is in hospital after a Stabbing in Strathcona County Tuesday morning. Crews were called shortly after 5am where a 44 year old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Her attacker then fled the scene in a 2012 Ford Fusion.
Hours later, Edmonton Police say the 21 year old suspect is dead following a crash on Anthony Henday Drive on Tuesday morning.
Crews were called to the Henday, south of the 153rd Avenue exit at 8:45am after receiving reports of a single vehicle collision.
Police say a 2012 Ford Fusion was driving southbound on Anthony Henday when it collided with the concrete base of a pole at “highway speed”. the male driver was pronounced dead on scene.
