The return of the Canadian original documentary “True Story” is returning to the History Channel on September 30 for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The historical documentary takes a dive into the history between Indigenous and settlers in Canada.
This is done through the Indigenous lens with Knowledge Keepers from across Turtle Island narrating the stories while events and senses are re-enacted by a collection of Indigenous and Non-Indigenous actors.
Windspeaker Radio Network spoke with Director and Co-writer of True Story Dinae Robinson, to hear what audiences can expect in part two.
True story part one is currently available through Stack TV on Amazon Prime Video and part two will premier on the History Channel on September 30.
