Abøn

Canadian genre-defying artist Abøn is a composer, vocalist, producer and dancer. Her music has been featured in the feature film “Tag Min Hånd” and the TV series Carmen Curlers, and her recent single “Orion” will be featured in Planetariums in Alberta.

Abøn’s sound is ethereal and enchanting, recognized by her mesmerizing vocals and subtle electronic textures, inviting listeners into a warm field of sound and enlivened imagination. Her style is said to be reminiscent of artists like Aurora, Lana Del Ray and Taylor Swift. She was invited to the Banff Centre for the Arts for 2 residencies, the Netherlands International Songwriters Competition, and the National Music Centre in Canada with Steven Page. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance and M.Mus from Berklee College of Music.

She is currently finishing her debut album combined with a fantasy novel that is set to release in the fall of 2023.
