Wilde Oscar formed in Calgary in 2020 with the intent of creating indie rock that is accessible to everybody. The music is guitar driven with a great groove and an infusion of pop melodies, harmonies, great hooks, and thoughtful lyrics. It makes you want to move your feet while you connect with the lived experience in the stories of pain, loss, joy, and raise your hands in the air anthems. Suddenly you realize that song you’re humming is a Wilde Oscar song They are all veteran musicians from diverse backgrounds that have been honing their craft by playing venues across the country for many years. As everyone has been on their own musical journey, Wilde Oscar songs each have a personality of their own. But make no mistake. Moving forward, Wilde Oscar is focusing on their live show where they will perfect new material before heading back to the studio to complete their new album.
