Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society and Story Hive have released Ahkameyimok: To Persevere, a new documentary highlighting stories of resilience, cultural healing, and the lasting impact of community support.
Director and Producer Vernon Boldick tells 89.3 The Raven the documentary will take viewers on an emotional journey, exploring themes of colonization, community, culture, and more.

After winning Best Indigenous Film at the Saskatchewan International Film Festival, Boldick says the recognition is especially meaningful, honoring the hard work that went into creating a film rooted in perseverance.
The Ahkameyimok: To Persevere will be released on December 2nd on TELUS Optik, and currently streaming on the Red Nation International Film Festival, and Bent Arrows Youtube Channel on December 9th.
